An appraisal is an unbiased, professional estimate of the value of a property. A relocation appraisal is required when a company or national agency relocates one of their employees to a new city and offers to guarantee a sale price of their current primary residence. Since the sale of a property can be a timely and strenuous process, the relocation company assists by guaranteeing a sale price of their home which is determined by a combination of real estate agents and real estate appraisers.
