ADAM LAWRENSON – BBA, AACI. P, APP
President
Adam Lawrenson founded Adlaw Appraisals Ltd. in 2013. His education in entrepreneurial leadership and his diverse appraisal background naturally led him to starting an appraisal firm of his own. He loves what he does and enjoys the variety of his work and the the challenging assignments that cross his desk daily. As much as he loves real estate, he is also continuously searching for ways to improve the appraisal process for all stakeholders. Though the company has grown under his leadership, he credits his team of hardworking appraisers and friendly office staff for the success of his company.
YUKI MUKAI – BA
Office Manager
Yuki Mukai is our office manager. She was born and raised in Vancouver and completed her Bachelor’s Degree at University of British Columbia in 2009. She has a passion for client satisfaction and her previous life as the general manager of a busy, Vancouver restaurant coupled with her many years in the hospitality industry has given her the skills to win over clients with world-class customer service. In the winter, you will find her hunkered down alongside her cat with a good book; and in the summer, you can catch her hiking her way around beautiful BC or coaching her beloved softball team.

STEPHANIE ARAKI
Administrative Assistant
Stephanie Araki is our administrative assistant. She lives in Surrey and enjoys spending time with her daughter Kiyomi, running, and reading. Stephanie attended Simon Fraser University and previously worked as a Financial Account Manager at Coast Capital Savings. Her favourite thing about working in the appraisal industry is getting to see all the different types of properties and experiencing the ups and downs of real estate first hand.
KARA DAVIDSON – BA
Administrative Assistant
Kara is our Administrative Assistant. She was born, raised and still lives in Langley with her husband, two young children, and two Labrador retrievers. She is an avid traveller, photographer and also likes to crochet and read in her spare time. Kara graduated from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology. She truly enjoys all aspects of her job, especially dealing with the clients and making sure they have the best experience with Adlaw Appraisals. No day is ever the same and some days are challenging, but that’s what makes this job satisfying.
GARETH MACDONALD – BA, CRA
Senior Appraiser
Gareth MacDonald is a designated CRA member with the Appraisal Institute of Canada. He lives in Vancouver and enjoys spending time with his young family and cheering on the Tottenham Hotspurs. He graduated from McMaster University in 2013. His favourite thing about working in the appraisal industry is having an ear to the ground on the real estate market.
MIKHAIL GEYNE – B.COM
AIC Candidate Member
Mikhail Geyne began working at Adlaw Appraisals Ltd. in February 2016. He is currently a candidate member with the Appraisal Institute of Canada. Mikhail graduated from University of British Columbia in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Economics and minoring in International Relations. Before joining Adlaw Appraisals, Mikhail held various positions ranging from call center fundraiser at his university to a database administrative assistant at a global financial investment company. He has always been fascinated with real estate and the appraisal industry due to its analytical nature and dynamic, exciting environment. During his leisure time Mikhail enjoys hiking, working out, and traveling.
AMANDEEP SINGH SIDHU – B.SC, CRA
Senior Appraiser
Amandeep is a designated CRA member with the Appraisal Institute of Canada. He joined appraisal for his interest in the math’s and the art of estimating real estate values. He works in the area of Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley and has appraised all styles of residential dwellings including single family, condominiums, duplexes and rural acreages.
He has previously worked in banking and mortgages. He loves to deal with new customers and loves to analyze the different aspects of real estate to provide an unbiased opinion on the market value so that the reader can make a well-informed decision.
ARDEN SCHAFER – B.COM
AIC Candidate Member
Arden Schafer is a candidate member with the Appraisal Institute of Canada. He lives in Vancouver and enjoys bodybuilding, spending time at the beach, and investing in real estate. He attended the University of British Columbia on a President’s Entrance Scholarship and graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance. He has previously worked in the public sector and in hospitality management. His favourite thing about working in the appraisal industry is no two days are alike; everyday is different and presents a new set of challenges.
HARRY BAOTING NIE – B.COM, MFRE
AIC Candidate Member
Harry lives in Burnaby with his girlfriend and cat. He gained interest in appraisal from while doing a co-op internship at BC Assessment and there, he realized the importance of the appraisals. His favorite aspect of being an appraiser is having a sense of fulfillment when he competes each assignment and knowing he is assisting in those buying, selling, and getting a mortgage. His hobbies include: snowboarding, travelling, and playing guitar.
SID MALHOTRA
AIC Candidate Member
Sid is a commensurate professional with a long career in the Insurance Industry. Sid gravitated towards the appraisal industry because of his love for real estate and the opportunities and flexibility the career provides. When Sid isn’t working he is travelling with his family and looking at ways to improve the appraisal process.
KURTIS TRINH – BA
AIC Candidate Member
Kurtis is a member in good standing with the Appraisal Institute of Canada. As a candidate member, Kurtis is qualified to appraise all types of residential real estate while having his work reviewed and co-signed by a designated appraiser. Born and raised in Vancouver, Kurtis still lives and plays in the area he grew up in and has become a very knowledgeable and professional part of the Adlaw Appraisals’ elite appraisal team.
CLAIRE GIBSON
AIC Candidate Member
Claire has lived and worked in the Okanagan her entire life. She has accumulated experience in residential valuation of all property types from Vernon to Penticton. In her spare time she likes ice fishing and going for helicopter rides with her family. You will enjoy having Claire come visit your property, she is a wonderful person and an excellent appraiser.
VICTOR CHEER

Victor was born and raised in Burnaby, BC and is the newest addition to the Adlaw Team. Victor was introduced to appraisal through his friend’s dad and felt it would be a good fit for his personality and interests. When not appraising, Victor enjoys spending time with friends, playing volleyball and going to the gym
SALEH ABDULRHMAN

Saleh studies Economics and is currently working towards his B.Comm. As a candidate appraiser with Adlaw Appraisals in Kelowna, BC, Saleh enjoys seeing a variety of property types and enjoys the 4 seasons, Kelowna has to offer.
